Welcome to LIFELINE.
A young woman lays motionless in a pool of blood. Four characters intimately connected to her life sit and await your questions. One of them is the murderer, who openly admits to the killing.

“Frontstadt Westberlin – August 1961”
Eine audio-visuelle Performance zum 50. Jahrestag des Mauerbaus.

Ort:  Verkehrskanzel in Berlin- Charlottenburg, Ecke Kurfürstendamm/ Joachimstaler Straße, gegenüber “Cafe Kranzler”
Am 10., 11. & 12. August 2011, zwischen 18 – 20 Uhr

Zum fünfzigsten  Jahrestag des Mauerbaus wird die Performance “Frontstadt Westberlin- August 1961” an der denkmalgeschützten “Verkehrkanzel”,  via Licht, Sound und Internet die Welt in der Frontstadt Westberlin vor dem Mauerbau wieder entstehen lassen. Der Aufbau der Performance (loop) ermöglicht den Besuchern ein jederzeitiges Kommen und Gehen zwischen 18 Uhr und 20 Uhr.

win win power auction

Participative Performance by Uwe Mengel, Club La Mama Theater New York 2011

Win Win Power Auction is a performance where the audience makes all the decisions. Ten musicians, actors, singers are on stage, ready for the audience to bid on their performance pieces. Each performer offers a choice of three performance pieces.
Every performer gets the money he/she makes during the auction.
